Winona and her little brother Gus have been doing their best to adjust to a new world during a pandemic. They have been diligently washing their hands (with soap!) and taking all the necessary precautions to best protect themselves and others from COVID-19. Words like “social distancing” and “essential workers” have become a part of their everyday vocabulary. Masking up now as common as lacing up a pair of shoes. Whether sending cookies to first responders or buzz cutting dad’s hair, these two siblings are all heart and have learned that staying home doing nothing during the pandemic has sometimes, in a way, meant everything to help slow down the virus.
